Advanced Family Planning Health Worker Training (LA, Oct 2019)
Essential Access Health’s Family Planning Health Worker (FPHW) certification training has enabled health team members nationwide to provide high-quality contraceptive counseling to diverse patient populations for over 30 years. Health team leaders who have received FPHW certification, now have an opportunity to enhance their sexual and reproductive health counseling skills and receive additional tools to support team members throughout their FPHW certification process, with our NEW Advanced FPHW Training.

The two day intensive Family Planning Health Worker (FPHW) Certification Training is Essential Access Health's nationally recognized comprehensive contraceptive counseling and education training course for health providers and educators. Participants will learn how to integrate STD/HIV prevention messaging and sexual health promotion into their birth control education sessions. They will also learn the latest motivational interviewing strategies proven to increase user birth control method satisfaction and continuation rates.
