What will you learn?

The COVID-19 pandemic prompted the rapid adoption of telehealth services for sexual and reproductive health care. While this modality is now widely established, questions remain about which specific services can be safely provided via telehealth.

This webinar will provide an overview of the wide range of specific sexual and reproductive health services that can be safely provided through telehealth modalities. Provider concerns related to managing a lack of physical examination information will be addressed, and a framework for thinking through how visits might be started via telehealth and completed in person will be discussed.

After this live webinar participants will be able to:

  • Name specific services for contraceptive care; sexually transmitted infection prevention; testing and treatment; and other sexual and reproductive health care that can be provided via telehealth
  • Describe options for care when vital signs or a physical exam have historically been recommended and describe alternate approaches to obtaining this information or working without it
  • Discuss how telehealth can be leveraged to provide a wide range of high quality and patient-centered care that includes infection treatment, IUD removal, and HIV PrEP/PEP
