Take Action to Support Our Public Health Officials Leading the Fight Against COVID-19
At Essential Access Health, we believe that evidence-based science and sound public health policies are critical to ensuring access to quality sexual and reproductive health care for all. The health disparities that exist today are the result of systemic inequities and racism, and the COVID-19 public health emergency has underscored the urgency of investing in a stronger, more equitable public health infrastructure.
In the face of unprecedented challenges, we need leaders who are willing and able to do what is right to protect our health. Recent incidents of harassment, threats of violence, and political pressure aimed at those working on the frontlines in the fight against COVID-19, have no place in our state - or our country.
Now more than ever, we need our public health leaders to guide us. They are trained to look at the data, facts, and science, and are working hard to keep all of us safe.
TAKE ACTION
Join Essential Access and our coalition partners across the state to show your support for our public health leaders:

- WRITE A LETTER: Submit a letter to the editor of your local newspaper or call in to local radio shows. Denounce attacks on public health leaders and give examples of how they keep your local community safe and healthy.
- POST YOUR SUPPORT: Stand up for public health leaders by posting your support on our social media channels.
