Webinar Series Description:

Prevention of cervical cancer with population-based screening has been a story of success. But it is also a story that is evolving and increasingly confusing as more data and new technologies emerge. This four-part series offers clinicians and others in health care a practical, comprehensive educational experience, from basic to advanced information about screening, diagnosis, treatment, new technologies, disparities, and prevention of cervical cancers and its precursors. Using case studies and real-time practice with the app for the newly revised ASCCP Risk-Based Management Consensus Guidelines for Abnormal Cervical Cancer Screening Tests and Cancer Precursors that were released in April 2020 attendees will be prepared to put this knowledge into immediate practice.

Presenters:

  • Patty Cason, MS, FNP-BC, President, Envision SRH
  • Michael Policar, MD, MPH, Professor Emeritus, University of California, San Francisco
  • Levi S. Downs, Jr, MD, MS, Director of Gynecologic Oncology, Park Nicollet Health Services, Minneapolis, MN
  • Ritu Nayar, MD Professor of Pathology and Medical Education, Northwestern University, Feinberg School of Medicine; Director of Cytopathology Division Northwestern Memorial Hospital.
