Susan Berke Fogel, J.D.
Susan Berke Fogel is an attorney and consultant to non-profit organizations working on reproductive health and rights issues. Susan is the Co-Founder and Coordinator at the Pro-Choice Alliance for Responsible Research and recently served as National Health Law Program’s Director of Reproductive and Sexual Health.
Racquel Bracken (Treasurer)
Racquel Bracken focuses on pharmaceutical and biotech investments at Venrock, and is co-founder and CEO of Federation Bio.
Raniyah Copeland, MPH (Co-Vice Chair)
Raniyah Copeland is a seasoned public health and racial justice expert and co-founder and principal of Equity & Impact Solutions, a consulting practice that provides strategic advising and support to companies and organizations to advance racial and gender equity. Previously, Raniyah led the Black AIDS Institute, the nation’s only HIV ‘think and do tank’ that is exclusively focused on ending the HIV epidemic in Black America.
Taeko Frost, DrPH (Co-Vice Chair)
Taeko Frost is Principal and Partner of In The Works, a consulting practice that builds the capacity of non-profit organizations across the country. Taeko has nearly 20 years of experience in public health, working in primary care, reproductive health, harm reduction services, and advocacy initiatives.
Pratima Gupta, MD, MPH
Dr. Pratima Gupta is an assistant professor in the Department of Obstetrics, Gynecology, and Reproductive Sciences at UC San Diego School of Medicine. Her professional interests include reproductive health access, sex worker health care, transgender health, sustainable global health initiatives, mentorship, anti-racism education, and physician advocacy.
Nomsa Khalfani, PHD (Co-CEO)
Nomsa Khalfani provides strategic leadership, management, and guidance to develop and implement strategic programs and initiatives. Nomsa drives efforts to ensure that the organization’s programmatic and administrative activities and policies advance and reflect a commitment to diversity and inclusion, and advance health equity for all.
Jeffrey Klausner, MD, MPH
Dr. Jeffrey Klausner is a Clinical Professor of Medicine, Population and Public Health Sciences at the Keck School of Medicine of the University of Southern California. He serves as an independent Medical Director of Curative and scientific advisory board member of several diagnostic companies and urgent care organizations.
Amy Moy (Co-CEO)
Amy Moy provides strategic leadership to advance Essential Access Health’s mission and goals and ensure that equity, inclusion, and justice are at the center of the organization’s work and culture. Amy also leads fund development, public policy, communications, and patient education and consumer awareness initiatives and activities. Amy is a recipient of the National Family Planning & Reproductive Health Association’s Public Affairs Award.
Brenda Shipp (Chair)
Brenda Shipp is the Chief Operating Officer of WellSpace, a federally qualified health center in the Sacramento region. In this role, Brenda creates strategic alliances with organization leaders to align and support key business initiatives and health center staff.
Komal Soin, MD, MPH
Dr. Komal Soin is an Assistant Professor and Faculty Physician at the University of Hawai‘i John A. Burns School of Medicine Family Medicine Residency Program and Hawai’i Pacific Health. She works as a physician at Kapiolani Medical Center for Women & Children and at Pali Momi Outpatient Center specializing in Family Medicine.
Neil Solomon, MD, FACP
Dr. Neil Solomon is a Co-Founder and Chief Strategist at MedZed, where he is responsible for developing service programs, overseeing CareForce, and establishing clinical processes.
David Sun-Miyashiro (Secretary)
David Sun-Miyashiro is the founding Executive Director of HawaiiKidsCAN, a non-profit organization that partners with families and community members to promote education innovation and equity in Hawai‘i.
Jen Wylegala (At-Large)
Jen Wylegala is the Director of Philanthropy for the Collaborative for Gender + Reproductive Equity (CGRE). In this role, Jen works closely with CGRE’s Advisory Committee and cultivates and engages prospective funding partners.
